If you’re looking for something to do in the school holidays or whilst you are on holiday in Scarborough, it can sometimes be a challenge to find something that suits the whole family. You’ll invariably have children of different ages who all want to see and do different things. As the person in charge of holiday entertainment it is your job to find something that suits everyone and that is where Playdale Farm can help.
A Look At Playdale Farm
Located near Scarborough, Playdale Farm has been offering family entertainment for nearly 10 years. Over the years they have changed, upgraded and adapted their services and facilities to ensure that they offer top notch entertainment for the whole family. The whole team at Playdale Farm recognise the importance of catering for everyone, so they have put time and effort to create the perfect family day out.
Things to See and Do
There is so much to see and do at Playdale Farm that it can be hard to know where to get started. You might want to try one of the play parks first – they have two, an indoor and an outdoor offering. Both of these are as exciting as the other and have play equipment to suit all ages. Outdoors there is also a pedal go-kart track (which adults can race on too) and a very exciting Frisbee golf course. The whole park also has a number of picnic benches and areas, as well as some of these being undercover.
Of course, Playdale Farm also has its fair share of animals living there and they would love for you to visit. There is a whole range of animals that call Playdale Farm home including alpacas, sheep, ponies, pigs, llamas, rabbits, chinchillas and many, many more. There are also seasonal chances to get involved with some of the feeding, including feeding the baby lambs in Spring.
Spend A Whole Day There
One of the best things about Playdale Farm is the fact that you can spend a whole day here. They have full cafe facilities, baby changing, disabled access and even free parking. Spend the whole day watching the farm animals, go-kart racing and picnicking in the outdoor play areas. You can be sure that when you get home (or back to your hotel) your children will be so tuckered out that they’ll want to go straight to bed – and that is definitely a sign of a good day out for everyone!
