Friday 22nd May 2015 - James

British indie band, James, will take to the stage at Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Friday 22 May 2015.Join band members Tim Booth, Jim Glennie, Larry Gott, Saul Davies, Mark Hunter, David Baynton-Power and Andy Diagram as they perform hits from a career spanning over 30 years, as well as material from the latest, critically acclaimed album La Petite Mort. James needs little introduction and is behind some of the biggest hits in the past 30 years selling millions of albums worldwide.

Saturday 13th June 2015 - Boyzone

Scarborough Borough Council is delighted to announce that one of the world's best loved boy bands, Boyzone, will be returning to Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Saturday 13 June following a truly amazing performance to a sell-out crowd at the venue last summer.

Hot on the heels of the success of their BZ20 album and ‘BZ20 - The Anniversary Tour', Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Mikey Graham continued their career renaissance with the release of ‘Dublin To Detroit' last November, the first themed album of their 20 year career. ‘Dublin To Detroit' is packed with hits from start to finish, including eternal favourites such as The Supremes' ‘You Can't Hurry Love'; Jimmy Ruffin's ‘What Becomes of the Broken Hearted'; Jackie Wilson's ‘Higher and Higher' and ‘Reach Out (I'll Be There)' by The Four Tops.

Saturday 20th June 2015 - The Vamps

Pop sensations, The Vamps, are set to bring their arena-shaking anthems to Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Saturday 20th June 2015.

Tickets for the Scarborough date, priced at £37, will go on sale from Saturday 28 February at 9am from Scarborough Open Air Theatre box office

Saturday 27th June 2015 - Alfie Boe

Britain's favourite tenor, Alfie Boe, will take centre stage at Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Saturday 27 June 2015 as part of a spectacular Last Night of the Proms concert, organised to coincide with Armed Forces Day. Also featuring Military Wives Choirs YorkTo date, Alfie Boe has sold well over 1 million albums in the UK and has had four Top Ten albums. During his sell-out 2013 tour he played to over 80,000 fans, including two triumphant nights at London's Royal Albert Hall.

The Scarborough audience will get to hear Alfie perform favourite classic tracks with his orchestra from all his albums, including Granada, God Give me Strength, Luna Malinconia (Blue Moon) and Nessun Dorma as well as Danny Boy, as performed in ITV's hit period drama Mr Selfridge where he appeared as tenor Richard Chapman and the iconic Bring Him Home from Les Miserables.

Friday 10th July 2015 - Jessie J

Back by popular demand, Brit Award winning global singing sensation, Jessie J, will perform at Scarborough Open Air Theatre for the second time on Friday 10 July

Fans were blown away by Jessie's outstanding performance in 2014 and the pop superstar is also looking forward to a return to the beautiful surroundings of Europe's largest open air theatre. In person and on stage, Jessie's got a spunky panache, laced with a timeless elegance. Blessed with an astounding voice and natural knack for a hook, she redefines what's possible within pop. Jessie always remains one-of-a-kind and she's quickly become the consummate 21st century superstar and a palpable and powerful pop culture force.

Saturday 11th July 2015 - Elaine Paige

The ‘First Lady of Musical Theatre', Elaine Paige, will perform at Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Saturday 11 July 2015 with accompaniment by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.Following her sold out 50th Anniversary Farewell UK tour Elaine will now be concentrating on special ‘one off' concerts, of which Scarborough Open Air Theatre is to be one.

"I'm really looking forward to making my ‘return' to Scarborough and to be performing with the wonderful Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra will be such a thrill" Elaine said. A thrilling live performer, Elaine has performed in concert all over the world and last appeared in Scarborough in 2006. She has recorded 21 solo albums and earned eight consecutive gold and four multi-platinum discs and has achieved chart topping hits including Memory, Don't Cry For Me Argentina and I Know Him So Well, which have become her signatures.

Saturday 1st August 2015 - Legends of Pop 80s

Step back in time on Saturday 1 August 2015 for Legends of Pop 80s - a very special concert featuring seven of the most popular names of the electric pop era, including Rick Astley, who will be joined by Sinitta, ABC, Go West, Five Star and Undercover.

Bringing the whole show together will be former BBC Radio 1 and BBC Top of the Pops presenter, Pat Sharp. With more than 30 years live television and radio experience and the ability to entertain an audience of fans of all ages, Pat Sharp is sure to get the Scarborough audience in the mood to party to the very best hits from the 1980s and 1990s.

Friday 14th August 2015 - UB40 Reunited

Britain's greatest reggae artists, UB40 Reunited will perform at the venue on Friday 14 August 2015. Experience the closest thing to the sound of the hugely successful original line-up at UB40 Reunited's Scarborough date, which will be part of a huge world tour, with the group playing all the past hits and new tracks from recently released new album, Silhouette.

UB40 Reunited are Ali Campbell, the legendary voice and principal songwriter of UB40, reunited with vocalist, percussionist and trumpeter Astro and keyboard player Mickey Virtue, all of which are founding members of the original UB40.

Two of Britain's most successful pop groups will come together for one big show at Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Saturday 29 August 2015
